Programs
The Ben Williams Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization leading the fight in kidney disease, CTE, and hypertension. �We offer a variety of programs and services in our network to meet the needs of people living with or at risk of kidney disease and hypertension.
Our programs and the work we do are all geared to:
- Improving health of individuals and their families affected by Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE)
- Improving the availability or organs for transplantation
- Preventing kidney disease and hypertension
Research Programs
Through our foundation we donate to and support research into kidney disease and Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE).
One of our signature programs is our GOAL initiative in partnership with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and Center for Connected Health Policy (CCHP). Guiding Older Adults with Love (GOAL) is a pilot program for kidney disease, hypertension, and CTE patients in the state of Mississippi. Together with a subsidiary of Off The Field Plan telemedicine-infused, nurse-directed program, we are working on a solution to improve accessibility to primary geriatric care in the Mississippi Delta.
Free Kidney Checks
Our educational and support events for kidney health include free kidney clinics for health checks. Early detection is key to quality treatment for kidney disease. Join the Ben Williams Foundation at our next free kidney health check clinic.
Patient Assistance Programs
The Ben Williams Renal Patient Assistance Program helps kidney disease patients who cannot financially afford medication and dialysis treatments. We also provide support in a variety of other ways to make life a little easier for kidney patients, donors, and their families.
Mentor Program
We offer peer support for emotional help and advice. Our mentor program allows those newly diagnosed with kidney disease, who need kidney transplantation, or who are considering becoming a living donor to get support from those who have already walked these journeys.

Advocacy
Our voices matter. And the work we do to encourage positive changes for health care and support for persons with kidney disease, hypertension, and CTE is important. Join our advocacy groups and start making your voice heard.
Family Support Program
Kidney disease, hypertension, or CTE, impact not just the patient, but also their families. We provide spousal and family support for persons with CTE and Kidney Disease as well as donor support.
